I see you have an SSD. Did you reinstall windows? Installing a new HDD which is not your OS drive, dont fix problems.
Did you clone your old HDD to new one?
Too many missing variables.

I installed a new HDD with a fresh copy of Windows 7 with fresh new drivers.

I swapped out the hard drive and started over fresh with all new drivers, etc.

Most of my dumps have come from ntoskrnl.exe and dxgmms1.sys

Most recent string was DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL, but I've had:

KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED
ATTEMPTED_EXECUTE_OF_NOEXECUTE_MEMORY

...as well. The ONLY thing I did was change the video card. Any ideas?
Did you try reseating it in the PCI-E socket, and reseat the PSU plugs!? And did you do anything to the memory in your system while upgrading it? Eventually check cables between your disk and the motherboard too.

These issues can really make it hard to diagnose the problem.

Rolled back the clocks to stock, no dice.

Still the same BSOD. Hmmmm.

It might be that the Window's generic drivers are interfering with the Nvidia drivers. Not sure how that would be fixed though.

There are a few things that will BSOD a nvidia card..

1) Unstable OC - no issue
2) Bad driver install - no issue
3) Not enough power - PSU good
4) Bad card - To be determined

5) Temps... what are your temps while gaming? What game are you playing BTW?
Put CPU to stock. HD 5770 could have never pushed the 920 as hard as GTX580 hence the BSOD. If that fails try different drivers. Personally i never got BSOD from a GPU before.

What driver version are you using? I have noticed since upgrading to 285.62 I have been experiencing a lot of driver crashes, and the occasional BSOD. I have also heard of the same thing happening to other users that have also upgraded to 285.62. I would suggest removing the drivers if you have that version, and installing an older version to see if that solves your problem. It is a lot easier to go to an older driver version that is known to be stable than to try to replace a brand new card.

Do a clean install of the 285.38 BETA drivers and see how that works out for ya.

I was having the same problems, just not as frequent and only BSOD'd maybe once or twice.

I would try an older version of an nvidia driver. The new one is causing some BSOD headaches for others. If that doesnt work, Remove your soundcard and any other addin cards you have and try to play a game. The IRQ conflict BSOD tells me that maybe it isnt working well with an addin card. If all else fails, i would RMA the card.

oh yeah, i would take everything back to stock clocks while doing this just to put you on a level playing field.

Aight, gonna try things one at a time.

I just went back to stock Ram Clocks. That = lockup.

So, I'm going to go back to stock CPU clocks. If THAT doesn't work, I'm going to try and start using older drivers and see if that helps.

If THAT doesn't work, then we'll try removing the sound card.

One. Thing. At. A. Time.

Temps are fine.
