BSOD's with new GTX 580 - Page 3

Well.....reset ram timings to stock.

BSOD or lockup.

Reset CPU to stock....nothing so far.

I'm kinda stumped. It was just fine with my other video card and running BFBC2 maxed out with my OC, I wonder why BF3 makes it throw up all over itself.

My only conclusion is that my OC, plus the new card is drawing too much power.

That doesn't make sense though!??! My 750 should be able to handle it.

I guess you could run OCCT GPU in error check mode on both stock and OC clocks and see what that throws up.

Suggest full screen, shader complexity 0 for 1 hour.

If it barfs on stock, your volts may need adjusting and if that doesnt work, well then, Houston... we have a problem.
