I think that's the 1 I have. It's been working fine for a couple months no no problems. I think I paid 18 dollars for it

Me neither... lol. Sort of. It's a Sirtec G14C unit like the Tuniq Ripper 1000W. Meh unit. Not great, not bad either. It's an alright unit, but the soldering job is likely to be crap. And I'm not fond of Sirtec manufactoring myself. Long-term reliability is bit of a crapshoot. It won't damage anything, but may give up after a few years. Again, I'm just assuming. I had their original 600W unit which ran hot and locked up after 400W. Then again, that was a little better than this crap, which is made by Sirtec. Coolmax is the retail arm of Sirtec.

However, these units are supposed to be much improved...

eh.

Rosewill - Newegg have some shares in that company right. either way Rosewill PSU are not that Great or that Bad, just average in a sense that they are not long lasting. So, its a good deal, but don't be disappointed when it goes in the night:laugher:laugher.gif

Well, 3 weeks, yeah. Most kW units can do that. While this may not be the best source, it might give a little idea on the manufactoring quality of Sirtec (Coolmax).

"What am I basing it on? Personal experience. I ran a Rosewill 1000W PSU with an O/Cd I7 and 2 x 480 SLI with water cooling etc and the PSU started causing problems with stability after 18 months or so. 480s are pretty demanding."
