Ehh... not really. A ~$900 build (monitor not included) should do it. Probably even less than that is enough considering a Q6600 is plenty for the game. One can grab a Q6600 for $100 or less right now, $50 motherboard, $50 RAM, Dual 560Tis at $205 each, $60 1TB hard drive, $20 DVD drive, that's $680 + PSU. With a single 570 I "can" run all ultra with 4x AA and 16x AF, HBAO, but there is some odd stuttering issue going on which seems to be from VRAM leak issues. If a single 570 can do that well, 2 560Tis can eat this game at 1080p.

They started pc and it shows. They switched over to console to make sure the experience was as good as theu could make it. PC version is by far better, not just because of keyboard and mouse, but due to the 64 player maps, better graphics, dx 11, handling of vehicles, cusstimization of controls, server support, ect...

Play it on a console. Does it play well? Yes it does, it plays fantastic. Does it play as well as on a PC? Absolutely not.

i wouldn't care if it was a console PORT, as long as its stable, fun, not too many glitches and bugs, we're good. But as it turns out, the game started on PC, and the "lead" was switched, probably meaning the most people they had working on it, to consoles to meet the release date.

That's a shame.
Not sure it would be better that is pure specualtion... some of the things that they came up with e.g Spawn screen are total crap

Honestly If this was released before the game was I'd be pissed. But after playing it and thoroughly enjoying it, eh whatever. It still is a PC game at It's core. Plus patch and mod work can only make it better from here!
