Yes, i hope it too. But i don't know where the community heard that rumor about nvidia releasing the low-end cards of Kepler and then after some months the high-end cards.
Nvidia started with the 480 and 470 with the Fermi, and the 500 series as well, the high-end cards, 580 and 570 and
then the other mainstream and low-end cards.
Based to this nvidia "history" i thing the rumor isn't true, i think they will start with the 680 and 670 cards, and then the other versions.
But the most important question for me and other is this:
Nvidia released the 680 and 670 cards, on (let's say) sometime in march, and from them how much time can pass until the manufacturers implement their custom gpu's. Like the SOC, Lightning, etc. with much better VRM, and custom PCB and cooling system.
Cuz, then in march/april i will have the money, but i don't want to buy a reference gpu. That is the question, i think i have to wait some extra time even nvidia has released their kepler gpus. Edited by CalinTM - 11/2/11 at 1:58pm
