I'm about to get a Asus 6950 1GB for 50 euro's less than the 2GB version. Worth it?

I only play BF3 at 1680x1050.

If you every upgrade your monitor to a higher res you'd want 2gb
Ultra on bf3 uses like 3/4 of the 6950 vram

Also did you consider another 5850?

The Sapphire 6950 Toxic should unlock, as they already come pre-loaded with the 6970 BIOS, could easily load that one up with just a flick

I got a problem, I just got the 1GB 6950. And now have some annoying stuttering in BF3.
I reinstalled the drivers it didn't change anything. With my 5850 I had no problems at all.

Any1 can halp me?
