Yeah, well yesterday I sleeved half of my new fans so I only have a few left. I think I'll quit sleeving the PSU since i'm planning on buying the new Seasonic Platium 860 PSU when it's released.

I got it from Frozen CPU. Halfdead is right, it's the tecnofront radbox. It's decent and looks great but installing it made me really nervous flexing the acrylic.

I might have some time tonight to write it up.

Since the last time I posted I have installed the WC loop, installed my new 6970s but I only have 1 waterblock for it right now. I also bought a new EK CPU block that should be here soon.

Thanks!

Just a small update. Here is some stuff i've been collecting this week. I'm not sure if I should buy another 6970 block for my other 6970 or just wait it out for the 7000 series.

Audio Technica ATH-900X
Intel 320 120Gb
AMD 6970

My small review:
Pros: Build Quality, Ease of use, Flexible configuration, Great for air and water cooling, Customer service is top notch.
Cons: Some accessories has lack of paint quality

Review:
I want to start this with what my expectation were before purchasing and my goals of this case/build. I expected a very high quality and robust case that would be flexible with my ever-changing PC hardware. My goal for my build is to have a reliable computer for gaming and usage of high quality parts are required. Looks would come after quality/form. In my experience Case Labs has fulfilled there end of the deal, plus some more.

The looks of this case is perfect for what I wanted. It looks very industrial and reminds me of a server case. No flashy or unnecessary parts is what I wanted and Case Labs delivered.

Overall I am extremely happy with how my purchase has been. It has exceeded what I expected in almost every aspect. It came to my surprise that even though they packaged my case great, it still came damaged. Jim at Case Labs responded to my email promptly and apologized to me for the inconvenience, even though it wasn't his fault. He worked with me on a replacement very fast. Jim definitely knows how we are as PC enthusiast and how setbacks can ruin our day, but he actually made me confident in handling the issue and made that setback much more satisfying. It's very nice to see he takes customer service serious. thumb.gif

The con I mentioned about the lack of paint quality on some accessories is minor and me just being very picky. On some of the 5.25 covers I noticed the paint is finer and rougher in some areas. I can't really explain in good details but from my inexperienced view, it is a flaw, but not something that keeps me up at night. tongue.gif

Nice review! Thank you!

We've been working with the powder manufacturer about the small differences in texture that sometimes occurs. I'm reluctant to change it because overall, it looks pretty good and it's very durable. The one downside to any powder is that you don't have the degree of control that you have with wet paint because powder is electrostaticly applied. Part edges and recesses affect the field, so it can be very difficult to control the exact thickness at those points. With any texture finish, a change in thickness can cause a change in texture. We've actually achieved a more consistent finish than other powdercoaters in the area have achieved, so the manufacturer has had their people come over and see what we're doing. Overall though, I'm pretty happy with the result.
