Configure key bindings in Battlefield 3.

When I go into editing the keyboard controls (I am left handed so I use IJKL instead of WASD), there are no options for changing the bindings. Is there a fix for this? If not, where can I find the file for editing key bindings?

I think for key mapping in BF3 you have to mouse over a bind, select it, press your key, save it, then go to map more keys. I think if you keep binding keys without saving after every other key they won't save.

Best left handed config? Is it true that it's better to shoot with a keyboard button, instead of using the mouse?

Once you join a game, press ESC key to pull up the menu. Once there click on Options and select key binding. There you can bind the commands to the keys you want.

Hmm. interesting, I almost think I should start a new thread. As a lefty and long time fps player, I have never even considered using IJKL before. Do a lot of leftys do this??

I always just switch crutch to x because hitting ctrl is awkward with my thumb, but other than that I always just play with the standard controls.
