What speed is my RAM

Thread Starter
I'm confused over the speed, when I look up the product number which is cmx4gx3m2a1600c9, it says its 1600 but when I look in system information it says its 1333... so which speed is my RAM at?

Use CPU-Z. The Memory tab will show the current frequency (double it since it's DDR) and timings and SPD tab will show you the rated specifications of the kit.

thanks, its 1336 so 1333MHz

and how would I find out the voltage, it says its 1.65 here but is that really what it's running at? it seems high because when I key that into my QPI/DRAM core voltage it's in the red and max is 1.7V

QPI/DRAM is a separate voltage. Definitely don't set it that high it's going to kill your CPU fairly quickly. All you need to do is set the memory frequency to run at 1600mhz, the timings to 9-9-9-24 (CL, tRCD, tRP, and tRAS respectively, everything else on auto is fine), and then the DRAM voltage to 1.65v. This is all done in the bios, just look around a little bit. Then you have your memory functioning as it should.
