Asus p8x68-v pro vs non pro

Thread Starter
I'm looking at the Asus P8z68-v /gen 3 motherboard

http://www.ncix.com/products/?sku=65...nufacture=ASUS

Is the only difference between this board and the Asus P8z68-v pro/gen 3 the lack of audio features?

I have a sound card so don't really care about onboard sound support.

I had the same dilemma myself. I found out the only difference is the V-Pro has a few more SATA ports and I think 1 more E-Sata and some USB ports. All in all not a whole pile.

Get the P8Z68-V and enjoy it. I know I do.

There is barely a difference between them. Honestly I would just go with the cheaper one. I have the P8Z68-V and its a very good motherboard.
