Well, I think it's my PSU's fault. Either that or my mobo. Those are the only 2 components that I haven't swapped out and tested. Either way, I was looking to get a modular PSU for this build. I used one last year when I built a computer for someone else and it really made the interior look so much cleaner.

I've considered waiting for Ivy but ever since I've officially decided that I'm getting a new rig, I've been really looking forward to it. Plus I'll have a full free month to dedicate to gaming during my break from uni. I've been doing a bit of research and I've seen that the new PCI 3.0 boards are compatible with Ivy, so getting one of those boards should future proof me for a bit, though I'm sure the boards released after Ivy will certainly be more capable.

Anyway, thank you guys for all your advice. I'm gonna be updating my build list later on tonight once I get some free time.

Also, I was planning the build around a budget of about $1000, though I'm willing to go slightly over by about $100.
