My rig is as below in my sig, I've run an online PSU calculator and it says i need 588W but I could do with the opinion of an expect not a rough online guide.
If 588W seams on target and i'm running a 600W supply at 82% eff is only 490W+ Or is that wrong? lol
First obvious foremost. It is not hardware issue. GPU throttle does not exit any games. That doesn't make any senses, if it is PSU issue, your computer should just shut down. So no.
2nd proof, I'm running OCed CPU and OCed with 2x HD6970 on 750watts. how it is PSU problem to you with 1 HD 6950....
Battlefield uses Punkbuster and it is a known issue with old Punkbuster detecting some OC software with Low Level Hardware detection will cause the game to crash and exit without warning.
This is all time happening on Bad Company 2. It does exactly.
Update your PunkBuster software. Do not use any OC software such as MSI Afterburner. or uncheck Low Profile Hardware whatever that called. Set the hardware monitor to native mode.
Base on your spec, you are OCed with software for your HD 6950.Edited by djriful - 11/2/11 at 8:03am
