SSL Partially Encrypted issue

Thread Starter
Got an email today from a customer mentioning SSL encryption was partially encrypted. Went to the site myself today and indeed, it came up for me too. I don't remember it doing it the last time i used it. website is http://www.chairslippers.com. It happens on login/when you add something to shopping cart. I googled it(I am not very knowledgeable at CSS or SSL..thats kind of why i got this job..to learn) and I don't see anything obvious to cause it.(http image links for example) Thought I might post it here to see if anyone can catch the problem! Thanks!

Can you post a screen shot of the error?

Is there a place to see the specific error?

Could it be the Authorize.net Seal? I believe that seal comes from another website so that might be what's giving the fit. ( I have a similar issue on one of my sites, that also has that seal, but It just occurred to me since they both have it, might be the cause)

Make sure all JavaScript, CSS, and images reference https:// instead of http:// since the cart uses SSL (https:// url).

Yep, I see <script src="http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.4.2/jquery.min.js" type="text/javascript"></script>

and

<a onclick='window.open("http://seals.networksolutions.com/siteseal_seek/siteseal?

Still need to figure out where the file is that contains the code. lol Chatting with the guy i replaced but he doesn't even know. lol!

any hot linking with http will cause partial https encryption.
<script src="http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.4.2/jquery.min.js" type="text/javascript"></script>

replace with
<script src="https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.4.2/jquery.min.js" type="text/javascript"></script>

I would've opt'd for a Organization Validated SSL rather than a Domain Validated.

Check out my site, https://www.affectweb.com/ green bar EV SSL, and notice how my framework automatically turns http hotlinks to https

Hm..still have yet to find the actual file with the code in it. The section of code doesn't change as i click on other links..so I thought it might be in the default.aspx..but nope..guess ill search more tomorrow. Any programs/ideas to make it easier to search for the line of code in an entire folder?

is this running on a CMS if so it may be a component or module appending the code. If not I suggest Notepad2 and go thru each file.

I suggest checking the Skins folder, and JScript folder.

Yes, ASP.net storefront. I am currently looking through all the topics to see if any have the code in it.
