While yes, they do cool better; they're also louder and do not make much of a difference in this day and age. Especially with a design like Seasonic, where most of the housing becomes a passive heatsink.
Yeah, I personally replace them all with faster ones for the good of the unit (and mind...).
That said, there're a fair amount of units with silent 80mm fans. In fact, those old Topower with dual 80mm (you know, those with Chrome finish) were very silent. 80mm doesn't have to ramp up unless you load the unit all the way up, so most the time, they aren't actually loud in spite of what people think.
I wish most still did dual 80mm. That was a solid design with the least air resistance, and the most pressure in push-pull.
