Get another 5850 or new card?

Need some help. I am wanting to get a new video card, BUT i cannot decide weather to just get another 5850 and crossfire or get a new card. for $150 i could get a new 5850 or i would have to spend $300+ to get something better than my single 5850 and than have to sell my old card. i know for the $300 i have to spend, nothing would come close to 5850's in crossfire. SO, what would you do?

If you're gaming at 1680x1050 then I wouldn't bother upgrading the vid card, it should still be more than fine (still is for a lot of games at 1920x1080/1200).

I'd get another 5850 that's like 4 of my cards in crossfire should be awesome performance.

Sell your 5850, put towards a GTX 580, or if your willing to wait hold out and put towards the next generation of cards from AMD and Nvidia which are anticipated soon i believe.

Try and find a cheap 5850 then wait till next year until the 7xxx's or the 6xx's (if they go with that naming again) and then see you do your own benchmarking with games and then see if the upgrade is worth to a new card.

The 5850 is still an alright card but if your playing at 1080p you might get lower performance.

If this is for BF3 at 1920x1080, get a 6950 2GB.

I've been running xfired 5850's since the 5000 series hit the shelves.

Am starting to think I might be good to go until the 8000 series. That's pretty good service from these cards.

My rule of thumb is the replacement Gen should render frames at least 50% faster pretty much across the board in most games.
