Razer Imperator 4G glowing logo after shutdown

Thread Starter
Hello.

I have a minor issue with my Imperator 4G and was wondering if there was a fix for it.

I have the driver version 2.00 and firmware version 1.01 (both latest to my knowledge)

What I would like, is the scroll wheel and logo of my mouse to glow when PC is running and switched off when I shut down my PC.

Don´t want to manually change it in the driver every time before I shut down, because I sometimes forget and the light only goes off when I unplug/replug the power cable.

This is an issue for me, because my PC is in the same room as my bed and I can´t sleep with the "lights on".

If it matters anything, then my surface calibration is switched off, because it is the most pointless invention since dvd-rewinder imho. If I have it enabled then it takes 2 seconds for my cursor to respond again if I reseat my mouse.

I really don´t know why this POS mouse needs two faulty sensors instead of one. (sorry for the rant)

My 3,5G Deathadder didn´t have that issue with the lights.

(all of the above issues only occur with 1000Hz ultrapolling)

that could be fixed by a firmware update if razer bothers. however you could also use a powere usb hub with a on/off switch and/or change your bios setting to disable power on the ports if the pc is switched off. (not 100% sure i think it was the USB legacy support.)

This happens because your USB ports remain powered after you turn off the computer. You can fix this by switching a jumper on your motherboard. Read the jumpers section of your motherboard manual for detailed instructions. It is a really easy prodedure and should take you five minutes max.

thats how it keeps your surface calibration in check
