CPU-Z says my memory is ddr2 pc2 5300 333mhz. I want to buy the Asus P5K-VM because i have an intel core 2 quad q6600. Will my RAM work with this mobo? or could you please recommend a mobo that supports my CPU + RAM as i don't know alot about building pc's. Thanks

That motherboard supports dual channel DDR2 at the following speeds: 1066*/800/667.

PC2 5300 would be DDR2-667 so it seems like that should work.

Awesome thanks! i was just reading a thread there in another forum that said "DDR2-667 = PC2-5300 (333MHz @ CL=5, tRCD=5, tRP=5 OR 4-4-4)" So i think it should work too
