XFX 6950 *non-ref* HD-695X-CDFC full cover blocks ?

hi guys,

anyone here that can shed some light in my dark blank im drawing here?

i have dual 6950s in the mail right now, both are [FONT="]HD-695X-CDFC XFX cards, and according to the supersmart google.com i could not find a single full cover block to suite these cards frown.gif

i am planning on WC'ing my whole rig cough once again.. so time to crunch some stuff up and get going with these issues. Does anyone know if theres a full cover block available for this card / if so, where, and how it was confirmed to fit, before i order 500+ dollars of wc equipment and such, i would like to know that it ll all come together well wink.gif

thanks in advance!

I looked for a circuit board pic for that card and didn't find one, but when you get it take off the heat sinks and compare it to others. My powercolors ended up matching up to 6870 circuit boards. Good luck...water rules!biggrin.gif
you may try frozencpu for circuit board comparison they have a cool program for it in the GPU waterblock selection section.

Although, if you can't find a full cover block, GPU only blocks are always an option, that's what I was forced to do due to my non-reference cards, it doesn't cool the VRMs and ram obviously, but I just have a quiet fan blowing over the cards to cool them and I haven't had any problems.

You can use 6870 fullcovers on that card. Look at the Aqua cards, they're with revision 2 6950s in mind.

not interested in partial stuff, been there, done that, looks like poo in my opinion, which is really the only reason im Wcing the gpu's, they wont be overclocked nor unlocked or any mods done except better looks added wink.gif

thanks tho.

Bingo. Their blocks were changed slightly to allow better compatibility with 6950 rev2 blocks making them the number 1 solution.
