I recieved a survey today (in the mail) asking for me to evaluate the CCNA prep program at my school.Since I had a few things to add that were not asked on the survey I dialed up the person that sent it to me.It was related to me that students are complaining the classes are too hard, take too much time and do not lead to a better starting position (how they new this last one I do not know). My school offers the standard prep series offered by CISCO (so I bet many of us see the same material). My question is why don't students see the value of the material present within the CCNA program? Right now you can get a Network Administration degree at my school and not have to take any CCNA classes and not even above 100 level Alegbra.I think these changes have destroyed any value the degree did have. I present this situation here and ask for comments because I know there are other OCN members seeking their CCNA.
