OC my 2600k question

I have a question, I have my 2600k overclocked to 4.6ghz with a vcore 1.37v I had it at 1.36v but had a bsod but with 1.37v i had prime running for 20hours under small fft's and its stable..is my vcore too high for a 4.6ghz oc? Bad chip?

imho, there is no such thing as "too high" for X or Y OC. Each chip is different, and will overclock differently, responding to difference vcores. Im running 4.6 with a 1.45 vcore, because thats what im fully stable at. In the past ive been somewhat stable at 1.335vcore, but that didnt prove to be fully stable. As long as you are not 1.5+, and temps are fine. its all good.

thanks i disable speed step cuz when it goes to 1600mhz my vcore stays at 1.37v which i dunno if thats good for the chip..My temps are pretty good i guess not the greatest after the 20hour prime my highest temp on core 3 was 79
