Best second monitor next to a U2711?

Thread Starter
I'm loving my U2711, but I miss some things about having dual monitors, so I was looking to buy a second monitor that was a good match for my U2711.

Unfortunately, I haven't found anything that looks good yet. I was looking for a 1440x900 monitor (to run in portrait mode) that matches the pixel pitch of the U2711, but I couldn't find anything.

A second U2711, would be good, but I don't have another $600, and I don't need that much more screen real estate.

Anyone know of a good match for a second monitor next to a U2711? It seems like there are no other monitors that match the pixel pitch of the U2711.

You won't find anything that matches the U2711s pixel pitch.

i would shoot for a used 1920x1200 monitor in portrait mode. that 1200 wide is key for pages to show right without scrolling.

Thanks for the suggestions!

I was hoping that there would be a good match (like matching a 20.1 non wide panel monitor with the U3011), but I guess I will have to go with a different vertical resolution for the second monitor.

for me i always go with practicality over symmetry. i always go with more pixels over how the set up looks. i have 2 monitors in portrait mode and i find multitasking on those monitors heavenly.

1200x1920 allow for 3 webpages on one monitor. which is impossible on the same monitor in landscape.
