$1.5m where I live can easily get you a cozy 12,000 s.f./4-6 car garage mansion on a bit of acreage.
the price is for HALF A FLOOR.

its a CONDO, thats being built by a shelter company which will sell the floors out...

I think the 2012ers are, in a very diminished way, a self-fulfilling prophecy. If everyone thinks the world is going to end at the end of the year, people might be more inclined to, mm, go nuts? Why go into work tomorrow if I'm going to die anyway? The world is ending, I need to steal stuff to make money to buy guns and ammo!

I plan on having some dried food and extra water on hand, and a Mini-14... But more for civil disturbances than any real fear of nuclear war or "Nibiriu".

were all gonna die sooner or later...people are very close minded...

the world isnt going to "end"...existence doesnt revolve around earth..if anything catastrophic occurs, humanity will simply go extinct, this isnt "end" tho..people are just dramatic

life will go on regardless, not sure why these individuals are going to great lengths to keep themselves alive. they dont appear to be exceptional in any shape or form

this is a sensationalist subject with alot of truth to it

I'm also a little bit concerned about his low bar for "a lot of truth."

To address the actual article: It's nice that someone found a way to literally pour money into a giant hole in the ground. I wonder if 2012 hysteria is as prominent in nations that actually bother to give their children an education in math, science, and basic critical thinking skills.

On the other hand, if anyone here thinks the world is going to end in 2012, I have a nice bridge in Brooklyn I'd like to sell you. You never know when a nice bridge might come in handy in a post-apocalyptic wasteland.

I say go for it. It can't possibly be a bigger waste of time than the real life version.
