Help! 3.3v isnt reading right?

Thread Starter
My bios sees my 3.3v as 3.058v is that normal?

This just happened after i changed my bios.... no idea if that can effect the readings.

My PSU is a Cooler Master Real Power Pro 850w i bought it years ago so i am not sure if i can even RMA it.

is there a way i can test the 3.3v rail with out getting a tester?
Small wonder.

Not sure how good that PSU really was to begin with honestly. CoolerMaster units have a bad name for themselves for a reason.....

But I agree with the above. Never trust software voltage readings on a PSU. Mine reports my 5v rail is 14v.

Partially because my 12v reads as 5v.

You can trust CPUz to show your CPU's core voltage (relatively close 99% of the time). Anything else, don't trust.

If something was off with your +3.3V regulation, you'd see stability issues pretty quickly. So you don't need to worry about anything unless you start having problems.
