Should I try 1.1v? - Page 2

1.1v is nothing with those kind of temps. I run 1.213v on the more robust cousin, the GTX 480 24/7.

I have an Asus directcu II 570 that I have pumping 1.175v. But it's pcb/ power delivery can easily take it along with the cooling power. I say go for the 1.1v, what's the difference between 1.088v and 1.1v anyways?

1.1v used to be the danger point.

Here's my old eVGA 570 Vantage score pumping 1.15v with cold winter air blowing into it from an open window, ofcoursed air cooled too.

1.1v won't be a problem. If it becomes a problem, RMA the card.

i have an EVGA GTX 580 SC . these cards are made to run at about 90c when under a full load. I have mine OCed to a core clock of 900Mhz and it is at 1.125 volts. I say go for it, just dont do it in the bios otherwise you will void your warranty, use afterburner.

What about flashing it? Will that void my warranty as well?
