You can download it completely legally and use it for up to 30 days. He could have been talking about that, just to try it out. You can also purchase the full copy and download it. Though he was probably talking illegally, I wouldn't jump to conclusions.

If I had jumped to conclusions, I would have reported the post. It was just a friendly reminder, as the mod staff around here is quite strict on pirating.

We make pirates walk a plank of puppy tears over a sea of despair.

Or something like that.

How about a second monitor? Get a decent 24" IPS monitor as your main, and couch your current monitor for tool palettes and open folders.

2nd monitor definitely is nice for a workstation. If you are doing any type of photo editing that requires color accuracy, then IPS would be suggested also.

Your rig looks fine to play with photos. CS4 is quite robust, as mentioned earlier the only 2 major things that I would miss from newer versions of PS would be the content aware tool, and that de-blurring plugin that will be released sometime in the future. Both of those looked quite amazing.

+1 for this. This is the exact setup I use with my two monitors. It also helps having a second monitor to display a PS tutorial for some technique you're not too sure about.

I thought the de-blurring will be on CS6 or so. If it's a CS5 plugin, score!
