After years of hitting the AWD keys on my keyboard and lifting in the gym, I find my wrist tweaking and small discomfort building.

I stumbled on this units on newegg and figured Id ask the community.

Logitech G13 USB Advanced Gameboard

I couldnt find another product that was similar to it, but i am sure there are others. This may not be a keyboard but I thought this to the right section.

Id appreaciate comments and recommendations. According to the reviews I hear its good for CAD too and thats what I do as well as games.

I have one of those and i can say is very comfortable, also you csn customize macros on the go without leaving the game or app you are using. All of the buttons can be customize. Also the led screen and buttons you can change their color to wathever you like. The screen itself shows you the date and time, profiles of your diff games, notifications mails and also can show your computer temps but you need to download apps. It is nice gamepad, if you are looking a similar one razer has one i think it's called nostromus something like that hope this help.

Thanks for the recommendation. I will look into the razor unit too.

As far as hand size goes, do you have small or large hands? mine are pretty large and i dont want to be cramped

Anyone own a Razer Nostromo Gaming Keypad?

Looking for a compare and contrast

Well I have normal size hands not too big and not to small. If you want to look out at the razer one you can look at this video. For what I can see it is much smaller than the g13

Thanks fritx!

I looked over both for the better half of the day and went with the Razer Nostromo, due to palm position. I felt from the images the logitech was flat and had an odd thumb position. Also i was able to walk into best buy after work and pick it up, they didnt have the logitech.

I programed some AutoCAD micros on it and played some dungeon defender and along with the Razer Naga that i already had it totally rocks. I cant wait for Diablo 3 or until i pick up something alittle more intensive.

Thanks again for all the advice!

I'm glad you like your nostromo as much i like my g13. If you have the opportunity to try the g13 go for it probably you would like it too. Both are good
