My 2600k in linux gets 90k ppd. My 970 folding inside of a VM also gets 90k PPD. Just food for thought.
I do not know what is wrong with your 970 JedixJarf but at 4.6Ghz you should be getting around 110K PPD my worst one gets 96K at 4.3Ghz running inside a VB. All my native Linux rigs get between 100K and 107K PPD running between 4.3 to 4.45Ghz. You have a problem some where my guess would be within your OC something is out of whach.

How are you getting 90K PPD. I'm getting between 40K-60K PPD
(Linux -bigadv) and I thought that was what I should be getting.

He's probably on hugeadv (6903/6904, still the -bigadv flag), which are bigger bigadvs that require Linux and 12 cores, the former is very easy to obtain and for the latter: http://www.overclock.net/overclock-n...adv-p6903.html

I could never get my chip over 4Ghz, I top out at 71k PPD on a VM.

I need to figure out my OC, I never really tried hard for more then 4ghz.
