Hey I just got to looking agian at CPU coolers... I see there is a COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 EVO for about $35. Is this a better cooler than the one I've picked? (COOLER MASTER Hyper 212+ ) $25? I still have time to change the order so let me know... also if there is a cooler that beats these for under $50 let me know!

Would the H60 Corsair all in one liquid cooling unit outperform this 212+? I'm thinking of ordering it and placing teh 212+ in my current Q6600 Rig.

I also noticed there is a Antec Kühler H2O 620 Liquid Cooling System out there at a similar cost. Thoughts?

if you are buying in december/jan then wait for ivy bridge and hd 7xxx series

Then again, i waited for bulldozer since jan, and now im buying an i5 2500k/ 6950 / extreme4 gen3 anyway

also, the 212+ will give you a 4.2-4.6 oc on your i7. the evo is basically a 212+ with a more efficient fan (less noise, more cfm)

or get the mugen 3 and get it to 4.8

Hey sorry, I pulled the trigger already... early Xmas! Specs on page 4. I ended up with the i5 2500k. Like I said, I can keep the 212+ I just bought for my current Q6600 and get something else for my new i5 2500k. I'm just wondering what I should get... I like the H60 but I'm not sure if it would really outperform the 212+ or 212 EVO. Thanks!

i've heard the h80/100 is OK umm..8gb RAM is plenty! i have the extreme3 gen3 by AsRock (was $124.99) : it's a good board..but i'd recommend the extreme4 ..just because of the blocky vrm sinks and odd placement of pcie 16 slots on mine...oh..and the fact that the AsRocks boot like..9x faster than a p8p67 pro and are solid...pcie3 usb3 etc..umm..videocard-wise..i'd go sapphire toxic 2gb 6950..hope for an unlock..if not..still a good card Orr...you could get 2 6790s and xfire them and get good framerates (for around $260)
