Flash Sapphire HD Radeon 6950 to 6970

Hello,

I tried to flash the bios of my graphics card to improve performance following this tutorial: http://www.techpowerup.com/articles/overclocking/159

After rebooting, surprise: black screen ... so I tried to switch the bios on the graphics card (position 1 to 2) but when I saw my card, there was no switcher. Impossible to restore my old bios.

Resulting in image: http://img801.imageshack.us/img801/1...mpare6950s.jpg

So I wonder if it is possible to restore or reset knowing that my screen is black

My CG : http://pan9.fotovista.com/dev/9/6/09...u_09472869.jpg

Thank you in advance!

you could try running off integrated graphics and then flash again with stock bios.

if you have some kind of integrated graphics in your cpu (for example, sandy bridge) then plug your monitor into your motherboard instead. keep the gpu plugged in, just dont try to use the video off of it if it is not working. try to get into your desktop and reflashing a stock bios

WHAT is the EXACT CARD you Have ?

W/O the Dual BIOS you've most likely messed up the card, it IS fixable but can be a PITA, and you really need to SLOW down and be careful with what you're doing, it sounds like you're jumping the gun trying to get to the free 6970 bonus w/o doing the required homework to learn what your best options are and how to do it properly.

Let's start over and take it slow, WHAT CARD do have ? go to Sapphire and post us the link to your card.

EDIT : My bad didn't see your GC (graphics card) Link ... I just wanted to make SURE you didn't have the DUAL BIOS card, as sometimes the switch is so small it is difficult to see and find, and didn't want to further mess up the card by flashing it AGAIN. But you Don't.

Anyways, yes you BRICKED your card it sounds like, IF you have integrated crapics on your MoBo use that, otherwise you need to barrow/get another card so you can see what you're doing ...
and then try to follow THIS guide = http://www.overclock.net/graphics-ca...hics-card.html
That should at least get you back to square one ... use the STOCK Sapphire 6950 BIOS to re-flash back btw, not another brand.

Good Luck
