Portable Cherry Brown Mech Keyboard?

Thread Starter
I'm looking for a mechanical keyboard for work that is portable and uses Cherry Brown switches.

I assume I should look at the tenkeyless versions of mech. boards?

Since I am using this for work purely and will prob. get a Ducky Shine next year for home/gaming/programming use, my budget is <$100 and the lower the better (without sacrificing too much quality hopefully). Wouldn't want to have to flip a nut in case it gets stolen or somethin'.

Y'all keyboard sensei's got any suggestions?

For ultimate portability I'd recommend you take a look at the Noppoo Choc Mini and KBC Poker, both available with Cherry MX Brown switches. You could also take a look at the tenkeyless offerings from Leopold, Ducky, Filco, and CM Storm.

Why not the OCN Ducky 1087 Tenkeyless in MX Brown? Goes for $80.

If your looking for a poker in browns ... there are couple of useds on the Geekhack classifieds:

$80 shipped - http://geekhack.org/showthread.php?2...C-Poker-(brown)

$70 shipped - http://geekhack.org/showthread.php?2...herry-MX-Brown (this guy is also a member here on OCN as Choboguy also)

I love my poker for its portability... if you dont mind non dedicated function keys and arrow keys.

Yeah, its pretty much covered. The poker is the most portable followed by the noppoo mini. Then you have the Leopold or Ducky. The leopold is slightly over but you could get a used one in range.

The poker and the noppoo mini are pretty good keyboard. I would say the Poker is built better than the noppoo though.

the Poker is my vote.
