raid question

Thread Starter
since the floods are increasing prices i went to my local supermarket to buy a hard drive, since they dont really update the prices i got one decently cheap

anyway can i do a raid 0 with a f3 and a caviar green?
or should i just do 2 seperate drives since the green wont give much of a performance boost anyway

You could raid0 the drives but will be limited by the speed/size of the slower/smaller capacity drive. You will see a performance increase though.
