a 4.0Ghz dual core is not better than a 2.33 quad core?

dual core runs at 8.0Ghz if is on OC

and 2.33 quad core runs 2.33x4=11.2 Ghz at stock...and if i OC it will be more faster
CPU's don't work quite like that, you would probably need to OC the quad a bit for it to be as good as the dual in normal pc usage (can someone correct me if I am wrong), it is in games when you will notice the bigger difference as many of them now are being coded to take advantage of all 4 cores of the processor.

You'd be better off finding a used Q6600. Q8200 is not a promising OC.

I used to have Q8200 and I got it up to 3.1 with an Asus P5Q-deluxe mobo.
