BIOS versions

Thread Starter
Just got a second msi gtx460 hawk. Is it necessary for the two gpus to have the same bios version? They have different bios versions.

One has 70.04.1B.00.02 and the other is 70.04.2E.00.04

If necessary for same bios, can anyone tell me which bios to use from this website?

http://www.mvktech.net/component/opt...,83/orderby,4/

Thanks!

Yes they are both gtx460s.

Different bios versions will have no effect on performance, durability, etc?

no its not necessary but if you have 2 of the same card you could flash them both to the same bios.
Small wonder.
