Need Help. Resolution will not stay set. (Eyefinity)

Thread Starter
I'm having an issue that started yesterday. I am running three screens at 6000x1080 on a MSI 6950 Twin frozr III. I've had it for a few months now. It is well cooled by air and is running stock settings.

Whenever I clicked on the date/time on my taskbar, my resolution would change to 1280x720. I would have to renable eyefinity, but the issue kept happenening. I upgraded to the most recent amd drivers thinking that would help, but it did not. Now today, it keeps switching back to 1280x720 on its own and I cannot keep it at 6000x1080. Any suggestions?

Did your monitor come with a cd??? If it did, try going into device manager and installing it and then updating it.... Cause when I had finished my build, I thought there is no need to install monitor drivers, but there was cause all my game settings would return to the lowest.... Hope I help

That might explain a lot. Two of my monitors have these weird glitches going on where when there is motion (such as a page scrolling or camera movement in a game) there is a line through the screen. Not a dead pixel line, but a line where everything above the "line" is shifted one pixel horizontally from everything from the bottom of the "line". But the only common denominator is that these two monitors are hooked up via VGA and the other is through Displayport. Iunno.. Regardless, I'll give this a go and see what comes of it.
