Razer Barracuda AC-1 + HP-1

Hi everybody,

I just bought a Razer Barracuda AC-1 and HP-1 (headset and sound card bundle). I installed the drivers for Windows 7 x64 (drivers 2.24) and I just can't see or open any control panel... When I installed Windows Vista drivers, I could see the control panel, but there is no ''words'' on it. Words are replaced by blank cases.

Any ideas to get this working?

Honest advise, get Sennheisers, Boses or Audio-Technicas and pair it with a very nice sound card.

"Gaming" is just a gimmick created by companies to grab the attention of the lesser informed customers. At the end of the day, $25 Sennheisers have turned out noticeable better than some of my friend's $150 "gaming headsets".

Well I actually bought that kit for only 70$, which makes 35$ for the headset and 35$ for the sound card. Plus I red the reviews on it and they mostly say that the sound is really great (8 speakers, 3D, sound amplifier, comfort), but that Razer has a lack of drivers updates.
Well I guess they were right...
Anyways, anyone else had this control panel issue and could fix it?!

check the programs folders manually, software sometimes likes to forget to setup the program info in start menu, or system startup.

not too bad on price. sadly the long term quality was lacking with mine that i had. first a few speakers in the one ear went out, shortly after the metalic-ish frame started to crack and crumble. (prob about 6 months? then another year and the funky (but rather nice) plug for audio out seems to be hit or miss for the sound card. (think some wires inside got damaged or soemthing))

However, before its craftsmanship degraded, the positioning was quite nice. With crysis1, i could hear enemies coming and know what floor and what room there were in and what direction. =D
