NVIDIA Cards Suck? - Page 7

I have used XFX 7950GT 4 years with hard OC and its still alive but kinda old wink.gif
But my correct cards make me some trouble ( 3 times RMA), also i have bad experience with HD 6950 burned like ****! In my opinion today cards is much lower quality then it was few years ago.

This thread is legitimate in every respect even if the thread title is a little "touchy" (I apologised for this). I again thank you all for your replies. I'm more hopeful now than I was yesterday (that my RMA replacement for the GTX 570 survives longer than a month this time).

.

I guess that goes to show how little you know! How can you adjust the voltage with analog vrm's, hint you cant. Nvidia been digital since the 280's A lot longer than ATI. Scale this!
When it comes to performance Nvidia cant be beat. PROOF/PWNED

Grow up. Uhm, yeah lol. Right. You have no idea what you're on about. Those 580's are solid. It's the 570 and 590's that're limited by VRM. And AMD has ALWAYS packed stronger Volterra's on theirs.

nVidia has never used a Digital PWM on a GeForce card. They've always done weaker Analog solutions, like the 8800 GTX which didn't offer software voltage tweak unlike the HD 2900. Newer Analog solutions use Chil sensors to tweak volts, while AMD can do it on it's own. Those results are showing their raw power, not build quality. What does these look like on the VRM section, Analog boxes or Digital modules? D'oh.

Also, cut off the stupid fanboyism.

Yes they are. I brought benchmark totals from this community. What did you bring pictures enough said,
We know not to benchmark the red cards they always loose. Just like faildozer, AMD's new motto we live for second place. pwned

Nvidia cards are great, I've never had a problem in the whole history of cards I have had. Even one of my GTX580's was damaged by a work lamp failing on it when I was setting up my water cooling and one of the SMD caps broke off it so I just soldered it back on and it still works then when my pump housing ruptured and sprayed coolant all over both my GTX580s mid game play they still worked perfectly after being cleaned with alcohol and electronics contact cleaner and then dried in the oven for 30mins.

So NVIDIA cards rock biggrin.gif they take a beating and keep on ticking

LOL.

Since it's already bumped, OP.. Original 570 before VRM updates?
I bet your new one will be rock solid. If it has a higher vrm count.
