Yes, for years. I had a Lexmark branded model M years ago. While switches are high quality, a keyboard doesn't have to be mechanical to be good. That's just what most of you fall for here. "Mechanical FTW, anything else is JUNK!" Yes, they give great feeling, which again is subjective. A cheap backlid notebook keyboard from eBay gives me the best feeling while being small sized. Control all over the keyboard and looks great despite using cheap rubbers.

I too am looking for a mechanical backlit keyboard.

Ducky Shine and Deck Legend are too expensive for me, Blackwidow doesn't have good build quality.

I am looking at the Mionix Zibal 60:

and the Corsair K90:
http://www.corsair.com/vengeance-k90-performance-mmo-mechanical-gaming-keyboard.html

As for the K90, I don't care that the function and macro keys aren't mechanical. Sure, its a bummer, but it doesn't affect my decision at all. I will be playing a little bit of The Old Republic and Guild Wars 2, so they're there if I need them. But I will barely be touching them, because I play mostly fps and rpgs.

Cherry MX Red switches are nice (as I have been using my laptop keyboard the majority of the time for years) so its perfect that they are easier to push down. Besides, the K90 looks sexy and its aluminum brushed steel. Sure Corsair, you're targeting people that don't know much about keyboards, but hell. It looks nice, Red switches, backlit, and for only $130? You're making this decision hard....

I think I will be going with Corsair because the Corsair parts in my computer are great and their customer service is stellar biggrin.gif Besides, it's cheaper than the Zibal 60, and I hope it's built better.

I was looking at the K90 as well. Do you know if you can change the color of the backlighting on it?

Hate those square things. If you want smaller, I feel like tenkeyless is the best.

If only they had a tenkeyless with a backlight...

I believe it is blue only, and it doesn't even look like the individual keys are backlit. Just the area under them.

my reading comprehension is fine. it's your grammar that needs work.

Sorry I don't know if I should post it here but since their fairly the same price how does the build quality compare between the Corsair K90 and the Mionix Zibal 60? (Please don't say Corsair is not fully mechanical, I know, but I just mean overall quality) I imagine the Corair is better because it is some sort of metal, and it's Corsair.

The Corsair board isn't released, so no one knows the quality of it.
