Thread Starter
Just wondering if this board is any good, its in my budget and I'm looking to replace my biostar 780L3G. I want to crossfire two 5770s and get my 960t to 3.8-4.0 maybe.

A Series board with 3+1 phase... no, no, no, no, no!!!
These boards aren't built with overclocking in mind (A-Series)..... the VRM setup is surely going to be able to hold it together at stock speed, but the use of an aftermarket cooler (i.e. no VRM cooling) is likely going to make the limited VRM setup very hot and prone to damage. You should avoid overclocking - or, at least, use the stock cooler, to ensure everything is cooled.

Oh, I should mention that there aren't enough PCI-E slots for CrossfireX on this motherboard....

Ha ha!
Yeah my budget for now or until at least after christmas is about $100. $50 mwould be even better, I have a 5770 and was wanting to run a 6770 in crossfiex, I think I can anyways, so definitely 2 pcix16 slots that run at x16 with both slots populated, but I don't plan to clock either, well the 1 I have now is factory clocked but thats it for at least right now. I think I will look that up at geeks cause that does seem to be a good deal, I'm going to check the specs on that and see what its all about. Thanks for the help.
