Thanks will update this thread when I get it . Aiming for Black Fridayish. Although I heard that eyefinity + Crossfire might not be supported later down the road due to the new CEO

Hi everyone, i have a Radeon HD 6850 card and was looking for a solution to ouput both audio and video to a 2nd display in a similar way to the dedicated HDMI port that is on the card. I went for a mini display port to HDMI adapter to make use of one of the available display ports but i think i made a wrong choice, i have been getting a problem whereby the graphics card has to recover everytime there is a feed going to the 2nd Display, the graphics card just crashes, then recovers. But after this i do get a Picture to my 2nd Display, but no Audio and both windows and the 2nd Display (LED TV) both see the the cable/connection as DVI instead of HDMI? I went for the GRIFFIN Mini DP to HDMI & DVI Adapter from HERE

which is recommended for Macbooks, macbook pros, etc. I don't think this adapter is the right adapter for my Graphics card and i'm thinking that is why i am having problems, can anyone confirm this as i this adapter was quite expensive and i'd like to try and return it if there is no way that it will do what i need it to?
