No point in getting a p67 mobo without a 2600K

Look for G.Skill, Patriot, Crucial, Kingston, or Corsair they are company's I can say I trust. PNY has screwed me over before so stay away.

Other then that it looks good.

He's already built it, he's asking for any tweaks to improve performance.

There's really no tweaks worth mentioning / doing with the hardware you have. Just make sure you keep startup nice and clean that way you boot into Windows fairly quickly. You can do this by going to Start > type msconfig into the search box. Once you're in that, click startup and uncheck all the unnecessary stuff you don't want at startup that would slow the boot into Windows down.

I also always disable UAC, that's preference though.

Since you purchased the 2600 non K (no unlocked multiplier) there's only so much you can do as far as overclocking goes.

Woops That's what I get for trying to read something while sick and tired...

As E-Peen said there really is nothing.

You could get a SSD and that would improve windows overall performance making everything snappy but nothing for games.

Well, overclock it then!

Overclock IT! jump into bios raise the multiplier to desired speed and add vcore!! not too much vcore thought well depends on the speed. Here is a great guide HERE! let us know how it works!

As other have said, overclock the CPU, and get battlefield 3, and set everything ultra. And run prime 95 as well for 12 hrs to really burn that sucker in.
