Thanks.
YES exactly. use a Mac trackpad and see if you ever go back to a PC notebook. Let me know how much battery life that Sager gets lol. When it reaches 7 hours come talk to me.

Alright can we stop with the idea that the mac is great quality? It's all foxconn components. You know, that really cheap stuff you buy b/c newegg puts it on sale all the time. I'm not saying Sager/Clevo is hot stuff, i just don't understand where this notion comes from

It's BUILT WELL with a great UI. The components are cheap.
Ask the ppl whose CD drives stop working after a few months, whose laptops catch on fire/overheat, etc etc etc etc etc.

That's why you see all those posts in the news section about how much an iphone/ipod/ipad actually costs and why people complain about it being overpriced.

That said, Apple still knows how to market very well, make a very attractive and user friendly product that, for the most part, has not been duplicated by any Windows manufacturers.

To OP, glad you like it.

if you knew how many everyday items are made with foxconn components, you would crap your pants and hide in your house, and you would certainly never fly on a plane again.

this thing is awesome, and the way it integrates with my iPhone so much better than my PC is awesome. The finger gestures are so useful and intuitive on the trackpad, i may find it hard to ever go back to a PC notebook.

anyways, just figured id show it off. lol

its the sandy bridge i7 2.2ghz, 4gb ram, 750gb HDD. 1920x1200 display

I have a 15" same spec as yours, but 8GB ram.

Also my screen is 1680x1050.

I love mine could never go back to a "normal" trackpad the gestures are just awesome and get through applications so much quicker.

I am thinking of getting a Macbook Air tbh. It looks to be an awesome netbook with decent performance and great awesome looks and sleekness and the sheer "cool" factor, so I can just hold it bare on the train and feel awesome

I absolutely hate my Macbook, if only because it's a 2008 white model with abysmal integrated graphics. My friend recently got a 15-inch MBP and I really wish I could have one. Definitely saving up to buy myself one for college.

Five pages of infighting could have been swiftly avoided if this was just admitted to up front, instead of trying to legitimize a purchase with a plethora of irrelevant reasoning - you wanted a Mac, and got a Mac.

Enjoy, and take care of it.
