As you can see, it does live upto its hype. On open air setup, beating TRUE by any margin in itself is an accomplishment.
If you say that TRUE is better than NH D14 and megahalems is better than TRUE....go for Prolimatech

I never said any of that lol. NH-D14 is definitely a better cooler than either a Megahalems or a TRUE.

Although I most likely will not be getting one. Most likely a Thermax Eclipse II, as it seems to beat everything else in temps(including D14 and SA), which is most important to me.
no, here an old test when the TherMax Eclipse 2 was released.

I can quote reviews too, and I trust Frostytech more than any other site. Although the differances between the top 'sinks are always pretty small. Only thing I don't like is that the Eclipse II is a HDT design, and I would prefer a heat spreader, like all the Noctua coolers, and the Eclipse's successor, the Gemini.

Frostytech's review of the Spire Thermax Eclipse II http://www.frostytech.com/articlevie...id=2521&page=4

TBH though, I really love heatsinks... I think they are amazingly efficient at what they do, and are also works of art I would love to just buy all of the ones I like, and then decide what I like best.

FrostyTech is the worst page for comparing CPU coolers Look at OverclockerClub or Hardware Canuck

What makes it so bad? It's my site of choice.

Don't you think it's weird that neither the D-14, SA or Archon are in their top-5 (Intel)?

check reviews from Hardware Canucks,guru3d, overclockers club, tweaktown, legitreviews

ediit: also their temperatures on testing are too low compared to the pages I said
