If you want to cool your cpu, get a Silver Arrow or an NH-D14 SE2011. Both come with PWM fans, and cool within a fraction of a degree of each other. They are both better than any other heatsink except maybe the Archon. The SA is 3 dB quieter, the D14 has better RAM clearance and the SE2011 comes with the Intel 2011 mount and PWM fans.

I looked long and hard at Frostytech. i decided that their results are too much at variance from everyone else for me to trust, so I don't bother looking at them. Maybe the variance is because they are a vendor. Maybe they get a better profit on the heatsinks they rate highly. I wouldn't know. I don't look at them any more.

Silver Arrow. NH-D14 SE2011.

Wise advice. The copper TRUE is not as good as those heatsinks. And they will still look as new in a couple of years, unlike the copper TRUE.

I knew you would say that. But I having a more pressing question, what is your avatar?
My avatar is my neighbor Totoro, from the Hayao Miyakai movie My Neighbor Totoro. If you have never seen this movie, it is one you must see. And be sure to pay strict attention to the credits at the end so you will know how the story ends.
