GTX 570: Is 47c idle low enough for 24/7 overclock?

Thread Starter
Hi there, when I overclock my GTX 570 to 900/2100 the temperatures rise from 44c/62c(idle/stressed) to 47c/66c. Are those temperatures low enough for a 24/7 usage or should I only change the clocks when I am about to launch a game?

I'm already using a custom fan profile and the card never clocks down when idle on windows, tried to put it on adaptive but it didn't change anything so I am running it at 900/2100 24/7.

I have a 580 and my temps are higher than that. Like 52/80 or so unless I crank up the fan. You'll be fine.

47C sounds pretty hot to me, my 590 runs at 32-34C idle. I guess it's still OK, but i would keep an eye on it.

Temps really don't matter that much when you are so low.
