Underclock GTX570

Thread Starter
Hey everyone, I have this card (EVGA SuperClocked 012-P3-1573-AR GeForce GTX 570 HD)

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...scrollFullInfo

I think a lot of my crashing and BSOD's are due to the graphics card being unstable.

How should I begin to underclock it? Should I turn down the core clock back to stock? (797 Mhz VS 732 Mhz Reference) I'll be using MSI Afterburner.

Underclocking the card will not help if it comes overclocked from the factory. Go through the rest of your system and test the cpu and ram overclocks for full stability using prime95 on the blend setting. You can also bump up the voltage on the gpu a little bit just to put your mind at ease and sometimes that's that can solve the problem right there.

Nothing on my system is overclocked.

Prime95/Memtest ran without errors, although I did get an error on my SSD during a diskcheck.

How much should I bump up the voltage? It's at 1038 now.
