Possible Silent revision of MSI 560 TI O/C Twin frozr

Early versions of this card had an enviable cooling profile.
70 degrees under load no matter what voltage or clock speed and a fan speed that rarely goes about 55% and never above 60%
All corroborated by numerous reviews.

Later releases of the card are running hotter and louder.
BF3 at 80-90 degrees with 80%+ fan

I thought I probably just got a duff card BUT i read an article in CustomPC that spotted it as well

I just got my MSI 560 TI Twin Frozr II OC 1GB an hour ago.

Kombustor Kmark benchmark got it up to 58*C and burn-in test gives me 68*C after 5 mins. With those plastic covers on it. I had to test it for temperature anomalies so i could return it if it's bad.

My case cooling is ok at the moment, could be a lot better though.
1x12cm blowing out and 2x12cm blowing in (one is kinda blocked in there).

Apparently the latest Twin Frozrs are good again.
I bough mine from the biggest online shop in this country and these things don't get dust covered in their hands.

I need to lower the fan speed with MSI Afterburner couple of percents from max 60%.
If my card dies or starts to act up, i'll post about it in this forum.

BTW, i did read about your issue in MSI support forums. Your topic among others got me a bit scared during the weekend.

yes I got quite upset about getting a duff card after my last well researched and considered purchase was spot on (the palit 460 platinum)
After buying more fans (I now have 5 120mm) and replacing TIM with no effect I borderline spammed the MSI forum to find evidence either way.

So my apologies for causing you discomfort .

@mingqi53 - glad you've got a good one.
You are getting those temps with 50-60% fan yeah?
