I looked forward to unlocking the mortar but when I did, I used it and it sucked. I dont think it has like ANY splash damage and I've nailed a couple tanks with it and had to hit it multiple times to destroy it.

I usually never use the mortars cause it sucks and out of the ~200 games I've played so far, I've only noticed a handful of games where people were using it.
I don't see how you can say they are not OP. I had them unlocked on day 2 after game release, and they have a very high kill rate if you can aim. If I wanted to dust off my mortar tube again, I could probably pull >20-0 provided I didn't get mortared by another guy doing the same thing.

I wish I could show you how wrong you are, but my upload speed is so slow it would take me >1 day to upload a 15 minute HD video to YouTube.

I would just like to add that Battlefield 3 is very goodly optimized. Or so it looks and behave. I though my laptop would run this on medium at at least 30 fps and be totally stressed. I was so afraid i couldnt sleep....

....Only to discover, that i can play on Ultra, 1080p and get 35 fps+/-. That is actually a good think. I enjoy this great game and can sleep.

About the mortars, i havent really discovered them being anyhow OP. Probably not many people using it on servers where i play.

What i /recall to really hate as much as i can is the fact that jets are just useless. With that stupid machine gun you just cant hit anything on or above the ground. And when an enemy pilot got transport heli with heat seekers that shoot you dont even when pressing shift and flying in a spirale like a fag is also a big annoying thing to me.

Also, jets gets randomly frozen when flying around the outside of the map. I dont get a warning, my jet just doesnt respond. Only way to fix this is to jump out. When i do that, its insta death.

Other then this recent thing, this game seems to be fine. With Nvidia releasing verde drivers for 570M GPUs it should be even more enjoyable game. Ofc there are some campers/sniper/fighting issues i have but i cant recall the right definition for them as of now.

+Forgot to add that jets are hard to control with the mouse and more sensitivity doesnt help. HECK i tried 6000 dpi on my Kone+ and high sensitivity in-game. Isnt worth it switching the DPI profiles anyway. When i fly and need to fly up-right the jest goes that direction in such a slow speed and so clumsily its not even funny
