You just go into your browser then load straight into the map, no waiting for the ea or dice logo or some intro video to load up so you can skip it. Its better than BF2 or BFBC2 ever was.
Aside from the privacy policy that people are up in arms about.

I see absolutely no problem with origin. If anything it runs way better than steam when it comes to the ingame overlay which on steam it crashes soooo much for me. And the only way to get it back it to exit the game all the way and restart the game. Fresh OS installs or not it crashes. Origin never crashed on me to date.

I love the fact that I don't sit through intro videos every time. If anything using battlelog you get into a game faster. No need to wait for the game to load the intro video, sit through the intro video, then log in to the server, then find a game, then load the game.

With battlelog you are always logged in for the most part cause of cookies. Hell you technically never actually have to touch origin your self. Just set it to remember your password (unless its a shared computer). And every time you join a game origin sets its self up and then loads into game. Realistically compared to BC2 its a lot faster to get a game going. Plus the server list updates faster

Just making sure I wasn't the weird one. Besides you can do mouse binding too. I set my middle click to knife just like it was in BC2.

You could be waiting a while. Remember it took 6-12 months for them to iron out a lot of the kinks in BC2.

I guess your definition and mine are different. I don't know anyone that has both bound to a mouse, especially out of choice. So, exactly how long have you been playing fps?

edit: I forgot this is BF3... doubt you can run and gun if you had to.

I'm not jumping on the BF3 bandwagon until EA pulls that out of Origin and Dice get their heads together and make an ingame menu and serverbrowser.

The structure is totally funked.

Battlelog works very well, it's a huge improvement from the BC2 server browser. I have no issues whatsoever with gameplay, but my biggest issue is that parties do not automatically join a squad, or even the same team.

i logged in just to respond to this. not only are you narrow-minded, but arrogant as well. most pro 1.4, 1.6, source, mw, bf2 players i know all have their aim as right, shoot as left.

Lol EA.

BF3 still requires Origin to run, so it still fails in my book.

I was really hoping to see that fix being implemented finally so I can buy it.

also, why is everyone down on origin?

sure, its another program to run, but it runs much more efficiently and smoothly than steam EVER has. stop complaining because you want to be in the hivemind.
