If BD can't even keep up with today's video cards what will it do with these?

http://www.overclock.net/rumors-unconfirmed-articles/1159853-dt-next-generation-28nm-gpus-could.html

[IMG]So well, in fact, that it supports up to a45 percent speed improvement over the firm's own 40G process used to make the last two generations of video cards.

Amd fans don't care that BD is horrific. They'll continue to be bought because they think Intel is the devil.

Just installed RAGE. Runs perfectly... I'll install fraps and see what kind of fps I'm getting.

EDIT: ok... locked in 60 frames... vsynch and all (forced by CCC, it's my monitor max anyway). Guess that's not much to go on.

What worried me were the reports about crazy framedrops. If it happens in my games, I'll update this.

Max frames don't bother me... drops to less than 40-50 frames, on the other hand, would be very lame.

ps: I'm running fraps, msn, utorrent, and some other apps, along with the game.

=D

I'll let you know.

how so?
I locked the game at 60, forcing vsynch.
So far no huge drops. Don't see how it's THAT bad?
