Yep, you're completely right. This test is pure BS, especially when it comes from a site known to be AMD biased. Did you know they actually delayed their review before it came online?
I'm sure their original was much worse, they retested things to not make it look as bad.
There's no magical update or BIOS, AMD hasn't said a word about it. Your best bet is to wait for Piledriver, that's as magical as it's going to get.

Both CPUs are overclocked as high as stably possible, the AMD FX-8150 is running at 4.6GHz and the Intel i5 2500K is running at 4.8GHz. We have found these to be "easy" overclocks to attain on these processors using moderate water cooler solutions.
This was covered on the FIRST page of the review:
I think it's time that people quit making excuses for Bulldozer, blaming the review sites, saying the original leaks were "rumors" or "fake", waiting for a BIOS to fix things, Windows 8 will fix the proper thread scheduling, blaming Glofo for poor yields ( eventhough earlier in the year they claimed yields were great ). Instead, you need to face the source of the issues...
AMD has done a great job at shifting the blame onto everything they can possibly imagine.
Bulldozer didn't live up to the hype AMD made it out to be. Deal with it.
Why do you guys think JF-AMD stopped posting at OCN? Is it because people sent him PM's expressing their disappointment?
Or is it because we called him out on the BS he's been telling us all year, and is now too proud to face us, and really has nothing to say?Edited by 2010rig - 11/6/11 at 11:29am
